Calculate bearing capacity of a foundation placed on soil. Displays the stability envelope for the foundation and the associated load case including horizontal and vertical load. The input to the foundation design app is design undrained shear strength, width of the foundation and design horizontal and vertical load. The approach is similar to that of DNV Foundation Design 30.4. The app is a useful tool if you wish to have a fast estimate on the width of a foundation placed on clay. The foundation design app is aimed at geotechnical engineers and other engineers who requires a fast estimate on the foundation width. The final foundation design shall be accompanied by more sophisticated analysis.
